For the Dec ES short option trade I am calling the 1425 calls and the 1250 puts each with a premium of 3.5 pts or a total premium of 7 pts and a value of $350 per $10,000 in account. This represents a return for the month of 3.5%. There is significant protection on both sides of the market and now having the election behind us and concern about the fiscal cliff stalling direction we expect to be without any pressure during the next 4 weeks.
